Aims

Founded in 1957, the Old Boys Association now known as the Champagne Academy has more than 600 members all of whom attended the Academy Course and chose to continue to further their knowledge and maintain links and friendships with those they met on the course.

The avowed aim of all members of the Association is to use their knowledge to promote Grande Marque Champagne and an appreciation of the sixteen Member Houses of the Champagne Academy. Annually a Chairman is elected and also members who serve as the committee of the Champagne Academy.

The Chairman and committee formulate a programme of events in conjunction with the sixteen Member Houses. The Champagne Academy organises annual dinners in London, the Midlands, the North of England, Scotland and Ireland as well as a charity and other informal tasting events.
